My work is inspired quite naturally by the depth and intelligence of our universe,
or as Einstein would say “spacetime,” and at the same time is exploring
the possible existence of an infinitely small world, a sliver of fleeting illusions,
yet a vision of the real as engaging as a spacetime manifold itself.

~ Illusions of 4D Riemannian Sunset ~

ABSTRACT
It was 1915. Dr. Albert Einstein published his paper on General Relativity. He mathematically confirmed his vision of the existence and effects of a new perception, an entity called spacetime based on four-dimensional geometry. His work completely changed our understanding of our surroundings and inspired countless scientists and artists to engage in an epic journey, a universal cultural movement which continues to be relevant and influential.
Fast forward 2026, here I am with my paintings and this essay which is intended to explore the anticipation of post-modern classicism – together with science harmoniously combining with art, separate disciplines bonded by similar aspirations, moved by mutual impetus, translated into new exciting results evidenced by the presence of spectacular installations all around the world, including my own work, an art installation entitled “Yelena’s Garden” featured in the historic international art exhibit at Venice Biennale Arte 2026.

Pavilion of the Republic of Haiti
Yelena’s Garden 2025–2026 is an installation where painting, moving image and interaction redefine the visible and the invisible. Composed of canvases, a double-sided panel, a glass sphere and a video, it follows an open hexagonal structure suggesting a relational mental geometry. The installation rejects fixed viewpoints, inviting the audience to generate ever-changing configurations.
The rectangular canvases, dedicated to the phases of sunset, evoke a phenomenological and everyday dimension, while the circular canvases, inspired by cosmic phenomena, open onto a more abstract and speculative imaginary. Between the micro-event of earthly experience and the vastness of the cosmos, a perceptual threshold emerges that runs through the entire installation.
Public interaction finds in the central panel a point of temporary recomposition of the images, while the glass sphere alters the perception of space, suggesting the relativity of every point of view. The video, inspired by the principles of Loop Quantum Gravity, introduces a non-linear temporal dimension that enters into dialogue with the materiality of painting. The “garden” evoked by the title thus becomes a mental space of care, transformation, and growth, to be inhabited through experience.
